  • Fatal error - Server refused to start a shell/command

    Hi

I've configured my SSH server so that it allows tunnelling but it does not allow Shell or SFTP. This is because I only need it for remote connections to MySQL, so there is no need for a shell. Or I thought so ...

Now when I try to connect with SSHTunnelClient, it gives the message "Fatal error - Server refused to start a shell/command". Is there a way to allow a connection without a shell?

Edit: Looks like this is a function of the newer version of plink, with the "-N" parameter. Any chance that SSHTunnelClient will be able to use this new parameter?

    some news about this problem?
is there a way to provide SSHTunnelClient with custome command line parameters? like: copy in the new plink.exe from the putty-page and add the -N ?
or with the "local scripts" function? is something possible like: create a dummy-tunnel..whatever.. so the script executes and in the script there's a plink.exe command for the new plink with -N ?
